Every ACERA cup is crafted with beautiful designs using an excellent engraving technique. The act of drinking water becomes not just a practical activity but one you can enjoy and from which you can derive simple aesthetic pleasure.
Through the artifactitious feldspar and the formula and firing technology researched and developed by our technical team for many years, the texture and characteristic of suet glaze becomes non-transparent and semimat. The glaze is lubricated and the very thick enamel layer is full like the character of “bowlder” after the sintering under a high temperature. It has the following characteristics as follows: gentleness, strongness, purity and spotlessness and flawlessness, seeming as a congealed fat, which is called as “suet freezing” by an expert of Chinese ceramics. In the enamel layer that is semitransparent and thick like the accumulated fat, depth and connotation of glaze can be shown. After fusion between the glaze and argil in a high temperature, bubble and superfine crystals will be produced, which will generate the natural glaze layer by illumination of ray of light.
Snow Crystal Glaze
ACERA’s “snow crystal glaze” originates from traditional two-color sagging of Tianmu color glaze of the Song Dynasty. Through independent innovation, it becomes four-color sagging crystal-patterned glaze. During the cooling process following high-temperature firing, we strictly control crystallized substances to ensure that they are in the saturated state. After cooling, the natural snowflake-like colorful crystal glaze is obtained, thus the name “snow crystal glaze”. The crystals of “snow crystal glaze” have various shapes, just like ice flowers on windows in winter or stars in the night sky. Under the irradiation of light, they show brilliant, dreamlike glaze colors. Varied natural glaze colors displayed by multicolor sagging endow each snow crystal glaze with unique nobility.
ACERA’s “spring glaze” is produced by high-temperature firing at 1300°C with unique glaze ingredients on the basis of traditional process of pine green glaze during the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. The glaze of the finished product has the deep green color of citrus in spring, and vaguely reflects its calmness and steadiness. What is more, the glaze symbolizes the awakening earth, tender shoots in trees and fresh air everywhere in early spring, thus the name “spring glaze”.
ACERA’s “snow glaze” is produced by high-temperature firing at 1300°C with unique glaze ingredients on the basis of traditional Ru porcelain process of the Song Dynasty. The glaze of the finished product has the feature of “sky-blue color and jade-like surface” peculiar to Ru porcelain. What is more, it is characterized by gentle and elegant color like mutton-fat jade in the absence of light, and has the feel of smoothness like baby’s skin, and is as spotless as snow in winter, thus the name “snow glaze”.
ACERA’s “sapphire glaze” is a kind of technological glaze innovatively developed on the basis of Yaozhou green glaze. It presents jewel-like luster, and is featured by calmness and great momentum.
Celeste blue glaze
Celeste blue is also called the blue sky after raining, which was derived from a saying by the ancients “A sunshine after rain. The clouds begin to scatter and the golden sun appears in the blue sky.” A book of ceramic in ancient times was written as “greenness as a sky and brightness as a mirror”. With the characteristic of glazing color, its color is like cyanic color. The glazing color is nutritious and brimful, and the glaze is smooth. When you touch it, it is gentle and agreeable, which is rare.
Gilding technique is a kind of traditional metal decoration process born in the pre-Qin era and is still popular in the folk nowadays. It was popular in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty and after the Han Dynasty, and was one of the most praisable ware surface decoration processes. It was called gold coating, golden coating, gold plating, etc., and has been called gold leaf gilding since the Song Dynasty. ACERA’s gilding process adopts European gold water which is painted on the green body by hand. Through unique modern technology and strict control of firing temperature, the colors can last for a long time, and show elegance and luxury.
“Emerald Glaze” is a kind of new glaze process innovatively developed by ACERA. It is characterized by difficulty firing, thorough transparency, crystal-clearness and unique emerald green luster.
Yaozhou Green glaze
ACERA’s “Yaozhou Green Glaze” is produced by high-temperature firing with unique raw material proportioning by reference to Yaozhou celadon of the Song Dynasty. It features brightness and green transparency, with traditional Chinese culture as design elements, and is combined with exquisite carving peculiar to ACERA. Together with naturally transparent LIVEN green glaze, the product presents the freshness of the nature and the healthy and green beauty which reveal its elegant artistry.
Hot Red Glaze
ACERA’s “Hot Red Glaze” is produced by a kind of technologically-innovative high-temperature glaze process on the basis of traditional Chinese glaze process. It is characterized by brightness, gentle texture, sense of thickness and layering, uniform color and high gloss.
Born in the Song Dynasty, “Oil-spot Glaze” is a traditional Chinese glaze. ACERA created a kind of new oil-spot glaze process through innovation based on oil-spot glaze and by combining the characteristics of gradient glaze. The glaze is not only like oil drops floating on water surface, but also as bright-colored as oil paintings. Oil-spot glaze has also been collected by people fond of drinking tea ever since ancient times.
Multi-color Hand Painted Glaze
LIVEN multi-color glaze series is produced by mixing high-temperature basic glaze with different proportions of high-temperature pigments. It is a kind of lead- and cadmium-free environmental-friendly pottery made by high-temperature firing after painters directly paint color glaze on the green body. The craft technique of multi-color glaze is quite different from that of underglaze color painting. ACERA’s painters adopt the color-using skills and ideas of ink rendering of traditional Chinese painting, and combine them with color overlapping of Western oil painting to naturally reveal the visual beauty of intermediate color. Even only a few strokes can show color gradation, and the glaze is full of sense of touch. It is really a charming work deserving careful appreciation.
Tea Dust Glaze
Tea Dust Glaze was one of the important crystalline glazes in ancient times. Its color is like the powder of green tea, which becomes well-known. Due to its formula or the reason of firing, the color changes from yellow to green. The color tends to be yellow, like that of eel, which is called eel yellow. However, the black green crystal is vulgated as “Cacalia green”. As the glazing color of tea dust appears, there are small crystal spots that are natural, deep, shallow and shallow.
